Inspiration, motivation, energies - from darkness to a brighter future.

Inspiration, motivation, energies - from darkness to a brighter future.

This is in continuation to my earlier write up on my professional journey to Saidapur.  So not going in back references much, am moving on.

Now we all are settled here and most of us are living our life as "home away from home". Yes its a home only and am very honest here when am saying this. Gone are the days where one worries too much about food, hygiene, healthy and more specific the brighter shining city life we all have left behind.  Here we are eating to grow our tummies more circular in shape so that hands move on round showing a sign of prosperity.

This we realise when we are visiting homes after two to three weeks or a month. All old pants are refusing to be on our bodies as they have to be stretched too tight to be there. Some are leaving halfway once they touch our thighs and running away from there giving a wierd looks. Same goes with all Shirts and T shirts and we really have to pull tummies in to prove (which is not correct) that we are just the same, the shirt is shrinking.  Not only this, I am and others are asked by the families to look yourself carefully standing in front of mirror and ask yourself .  Aru the same ?  Here we can not use the term "koun se chakki ka aata kha rahe ho" ?  As we all are eating only rice and allied items.

Culprit to this and I blame this to our dear Jayant. He is the man behind this game and we all are getting carried away in his skills of making a tasty food. In fact the word tasty is also very tiny short small micro when he is preparing all the food items.  Not that our wifes can't cook OR get the same taste ...with due respect to all their cooking skills and love that they pour in like the "Tadka" or "ghee" that we add over hot rice with flowing steam fumes. So that all goes without saying.

The whole point I am trying to say is Jayant an young project engineer spending all his energies at the site (his and all other guy's steps we cant even count) in a 10 acre project. Extended working hours and pressures. With all of this he is never tired to cook food. Forget cooking, he has his own rules and principles of cutting the vegetables (fortunately they match with my wife also), shapes, pieces size and proportions are so perfect. There are no errors, repetitions and compromises in that and everything added with smile, loads of patience, positivity and love he does it. I keep sharing all those photos, but believe me the photos are not even 0.1% good compared to the taste that we get, eat and finish everything he makes.

Last week due to heavy rains there were power cuts and we enjoyed a week of mobile light dinners ...I can say candle light...as we are using only the cell phone torch for our lighting needs during the whole process. A lamp lit at pooja place ads a pious flavour in the making process and incense stick flavour added with the tasty food cooking flavours makes the place a different world.  Other day it was coincidentally "Kande navami" where Chaturmaas starts and we dont eat onion, garlics in 4 months.  Our friend Saibanna just said Bhajji, and you won't believe in 10 to 12 minutes we were eating hot "pakoda" ..what a speed, experties and taste man...they were above all that we eat on bundies (tapri I mean).

That day an exclusive Sambar we have enjoyed...I cant elaborate it in words...all words are again not enough.  Jayant will definitely say am overrating or unreasonably praising ..but what I wonder is the perfection, timing, taste that he is able to make is just note worthy. We are also involved in this entire process fully which is making us relieve all our stress being away, worries that you get being alone in a very small town where all hotels and everything closes at around 8 pm. Healthy discussions, some fun moments and cracking of jokes making this process altogether different and so I said...fron darkness to a brighter, shinier future... This is also helping us to be fit and happy at site and achieve our dreams that we are all running for. So we are not much serious about circles getting enlarged ... Clothes getting annoyed to accompany... Nevertheless we are doing our best to burn those calories...and some are also trying for Millets etc.of of course with the same curries....a food effort that started with only rice and Daal, has started gathering starters, sweets ...ohh that reminds me of a special Badaam Milk of Narayanpet...but its story will be the next... guys are in market buying vegetables for today....I need to stop here and join there. Bye for now.... Don't forget or miss to see the videos, comments and likes.
